MBR Plant, Performance of Sludge

Published by in Technology

I plan to add a bit of flocculant to improve the filterability of the sludge in our MBR sewage treatment plant.

What is the best unit to dose flocculants into? The Aeration tank or the MBR tank?

Are there any impacts of flocculant on the Membranes or on the process? In this case, am planning to use aluminium chlorohydrate.

What is source of Waste ...

What is source of Waste water.

Do you require flocculant for dewatering of excess sludge generated?

Please clarify.

Hello The mud will always ...

Hello

The mud will always remain mud. It's a dead organic matter, inert. The addition of a product allowing it to liquefy will not affect the filtration methodology used. On the other hand these sludges will be impregnated with these products. No alternative treatment of these sludges will be able to eliminate these products which for the most part are dispersed in the environment. The real question is here.
